General Rifle Questions

Where are Tikka rifles manufactured?

Every Tikka rifle is designed and manufactured at the Sako factory in Riihimäki, Finland. This facility is world-renowned for its high-tech production methods and master craftsmanship.

Who owns the Tikka brand?

Tikka is a brand owned by Sako, which is part of the Beretta Holding Group. This partnership ensures that Tikka rifles benefit from some of the most advanced firearms research and development in the world.

What is the “1 MOA Guarantee”?

Tikka guarantees that every rifle will shoot a 3-shot group of 1 MOA (Minute of Angle) or better at 100 yards using high-quality factory ammunition. This level of precision is virtually unmatched by other out-of-the-box rifle manufacturers.

What is the difference between the T3 and the T3x?

The T3x is the evolution of the original T3 platform. It features several key upgrades, including an improved asymmetrical grip pattern, a new recoil pad for better impact absorption, a redesigned ejection port for easier single-loading, and a more robust steel bolt shroud.

Are Tikka rifles available for left-handed shooters?

Yes. Tikka is one of the few manufacturers that offers a massive selection of dedicated left-handed models across the T3x series. We keep a deep inventory of these models to ensure southpaw shooters never have to compromise.

Ordering & FFL Process

How do I buy a Tikka rifle online?

Federal law requires all firearms to be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. You simply select your rifle on the Tikka Rifles USA Home Page, and during checkout, provide the details of your local gun shop or dealer. We ship the rifle to them, and you complete the background check and pickup locally.

Can I ship a rifle directly to my home?

No. Under the Gun Control Act of 1968, firearms must be shipped to a licensed dealer. However, non-firearm accessories like magazines, stocks, and scope rings can be shipped directly to your residential address.

How do I get my dealer’s FFL to you?

You can have your dealer email a copy of their license to info@tikkariflesusa.com. Please ensure they include your order number so we can match the documentation to your purchase quickly.

How long does shipping take?

Once we receive your dealer’s FFL, we typically process and ship orders from our Kearney, NE hub within 2–3 business days. Transit times generally range from 3 to 5 business days depending on your location.

Payments & Security

What payment methods do you accept?

To provide the most secure and private transaction environment, we accept:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard)

  • Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin & Ethereum)

  • Zelle

  • Apple Pay

Is my data secure when I shop on your site?

Absolutely. The Tikka Rifles USA Home Page utilizes industry-standard SSL encryption. We never store sensitive payment data like full credit card numbers or digital wallet keys on our servers.

Do you offer financing?

Currently, we do not offer internal financing, but many of our customers utilize the instant transfer capabilities of Zelle or the flexibility of cryptocurrency to manage their purchases.

Maintenance & Support

How should I break in my new Tikka barrel?

While Tikka barrels are ready to shoot from the factory, many precision shooters prefer a standard break-in procedure (cleaning after each of the first 5–10 shots). The most important factor is keeping the bore free of heavy copper fouling during the initial range sessions.

What scope mounts do I need for a T3x?

The T3x receiver comes with an integrated 17mm dovetail rail. You can use Tikka-specific Optilock rings or install a Picatinny rail for more mounting versatility. You can find these in our Tikka Rifles Accessories section.

What happens if my rifle has a defect?

Every new rifle is covered by the manufacturer’s limited warranty. If you experience a mechanical issue, please contact us at +1 (479) 437-7189, and we will assist you in coordinating a repair or replacement.
